Lichtenburg
I am Magdeleen Visagie and I live in Lichtenburg, North West. I obtained my B Ed. Foundational phase from the University of the Free State. Teaching is not a passion, but rather a calling. The Lord showed me clearly in my matric year that I have to become a teacher.
I believe that every child has the potential to realise their dreams. Even at school level, I believe everyone can make a success of their academics. It just needs the right recipe. Something that includes love, patience, motivation, and hard work. Who better than a Teacher to help with this?
In my heart I know that every child can be great chums with Math. We, as teachers, just need to get “into” every child’s way of thinking to ensure we teach Math in the right way to each child.
When ShumS with SumS came into my life, I knew this was the chance to unlock every kid’s true potential. Also, making Math fun for each child and helping them become very good at it. I believe in every child that crosses my path and so I want to make a difference in their lives.
