I grew up in Pretoria and was one of those freaks that actually enjoyed going to school. From an early age I knew I wanted to grow up and become a teacher. In 2012 I completed an LLB degree at University of Pretoria, went to law school and in 2018 I was admitted as advocate.
In 2013 I decided to follow my passion and completed the PGCE at UNISA by 2015, during which time I also started teaching Mathematics at Rooihuiskraal Primary, which I still love and enjoy every day.
As the dream to have a business of my own still lingered, I decided to buy into the ChumS with SumS franchise, creating an opportunity for Centurion learners to better understand Maths and to develop a true appreciation of the subject.
At ChumS with SumS in Centurion we strive to make a difference.
Jeanne-Mari is a mom of the 2 most beautiful busy kids. She is also the Departmental head of Math at Rooihuiskraal where she teaches. Jeanne-Mari is effective and she is always up for big challenges. She doesn’t just dream, but works actively to realise those dreams. She and her teams make a big difference for kids at Rooihuiskraal to love sums. – Nalize Boshoff, programme developer
